The UK Reality

262 deaths relating to domestic abuse were recorded in England and Wales between April 2023 and March 2024, including 164 homicide victims and 98 suspected victim suicides. (National Domestic Homicide Project, 2024). Every death is a human being. And every death is a person who leaves behind a grieving family and long lasting devastation.

“Whoever saves one life, it is as if he had saved all of mankind.” (Qur’an 5:32)

This Ramadan you can be the mercy someone cannot find at home.

Your donation and support create ripples of healing. Every person we help becomes equipped to break the cycle of abuse for future generations.

When home becomes unsafe, Nour becomes sanctuary.

Why Your Donation Matters

Your donation saves lives. When a survivor reaches out to us, they’re often at breaking point, believing they have nowhere to turn. Your support means they can access the help they desperately need without cost being a barrier, it means they can heal without having to choose between their safety and feeding their children. Your donation doesn’t just transform one life, it breaks cycles of trauma that ripple through families and generations.

When we support a mother to heal, we’re also protecting her children from carrying forward the pain she endured. Led by women from minoritised communities with lived experience, we’re uniquely placed to reach survivors who’ve been failed by mainstream services. Every pound you give says to a survivor: you matter, your healing matters, and you’re not alone.
