Healing Through Words

Online monthly writing programme - Coming Soon

Words can be powerful tools for healing. Whether you journal privately, write poetry, or have never written about your experiences before, writing can help you make sense of what happened, process your feelings, and reclaim your story.

Healing Through Words is our online monthly writing programme for survivors of abuse. It’s a safe, supportive space to explore writing as a tool for healing, led by an experienced facilitator who understands trauma.

This is a monthly online group programme where survivors come together to explore therapeutic writing. Each session offers gentle prompts and exercises designed to help you process your experiences, express your feelings, and find your voice.

You don’t need to be a “writer” to join. You don’t need to share what you write unless you want to. This is about writing for yourself, for your healing.

No, never. Sharing is always optional. Many people find it helpful to share, but it's completely up to you. You can just listen and write for yourself if that's what feels right.

The writing prompts are designed to be gentle and trauma-responsive. You're always in control of what you write about. If a prompt feels too difficult, you can write about something else or just observe that session.

This is a free programme.

Yes. Healing Through Words can complement other therapeutic support you're receiving. This is a facilitated group, and not therapy with a therapist, although the benefits are therapeutic.

Life happens. You won't be penalised for missing a session. Each session stands alone, though there may be themes that develop over time, and it will support your journey to attend regularly. It also supports group dynamics when attendance is consistent.

For confidentiality and safety, sessions won't be recorded. Each session is for those who are present in that moment.
